Pug "Rusty" aka "Bam Bam" with his new mama
UPDATE:
Hi Judy, Sorry took so long to let you know how Bam Bam adjusted to his new home and family.  He is doing great.  What a ball of energy, but when he is tired, he will fall asleep most anywhere, lol.  But seriously, he has adjusted very well.  No major problems or potty accidents.  Of course he is being spoiled rotten.  I tell everyone he is my first grandbaby, lol.  I have enclosed a couple of pictures of him, mostly with Courtney holding him.  Well, I will keep in touch with you and keep you up to date on him.  Thank you so much for helping us to add to our family, he is a wonderful addition. Chipekapoo "Dunkin" and his new mama, Megan, who flew in from Monterey California just for him! Is he a special little guy or what? Megan thinks so!
UPDATE:
Ma'am, I just wanted to say thank you and let you know that Dunkin arrived safely in Monterey last night.  He got carsick a few times driving to the airport but did just fine on the airplane.  I think he might have just been afraid of all the new events because he did just fine on the car ride from the airport to my house in Monterey.  He has an appointment with the vet this morning to meet him and make sure he weathered his trip well. Thanks, again, and have a nice day! Respectfully, Megan.

Labradoodle "Colby"

Sonny (aka Colby) is the BEST dog!!  He was house-trained from the day we brought him home.  He was very shy the first day (and still is around new people) but has turned into a ball of fun!  He loves to go on walks and jogs - his longest so far was a 4 mile jog 2 nights ago! Thank you so much for a wonderful surprise birthday present for my husband and a welcome addition to our family!

UPDATE:
Hey there Judy,  After you left Sunday, Sue and I and the boys spent the rest of the day getting aquainted.  We had a blast.  The boys remained a little timid that day but within the next couple of days they warmed right up to us and we have been having a wonderful time ever since.  On Monday we took the boys to see Sue's brother in Smithfield, NC (he is our vet)  He gave the boys a once over and all of their shots are up to date and their final worming medicine has been administered and he also gave us some medications and cleaning solution for their ears.  They really didn't like me messing with their ears at first but now they almost look forward to me keeping their ears clean and healthy.   Dakota is the calmist of the two and ------- Oh by the way, we changed Keiser's name to Cheyenne...... It just seemed to fit his personality and he is already used to the new name.  So Cheyenne and Dakota are doing well and are very happy and contented.  I have already begun to train them in the arts of COME, STAY, SIT, and they are beginning to be introduced to the neighbors.  The neighbors think that they are the cutest pups that they have ever seen and the boys get along with the neighbors very well.  For now, the boys sleep in the house at night and have the run of the yard during the day............ I think that they have adjusted pretty well to their new surroundings and life style.  We will keep you informed as to their progress.  We just love the boys.  Thank you for our new babies.  Bill & Sue

UPDATE:
Hi Judy, We made it home safe and sound. We got in around 10:30 p.m., I had to stop by McDonalds for a salad. I wanted to ask you where you kept rocky, I have a crate here but he doesn't like to be in it. We had a good drive, he slept practically the whole way home. When we did stop he didn't seem interested in having to go "potty" (that is ok talking to your pet but it just seems strange in writing it to a person!) Do you have any tips? Thanks again, Kevin,
Caldwell, Ohio

UPDATE:
We adopted Marty on Saturday afternoon. He has been the highlight of the family since (not to mention friends, neighbors, strangers, etc.).  Everyone comments on how calm he is. He loves people and other dogs, and knows no strangers.
We have had one delemma.  That is his name. I love the name Marty however I thought it could be a family "event" to name the "baby".  Keep in mind I have a 17 and 20 year old.  I will not bore you with the agony but today we finally have a name.  His name is Ramsey and he is named after Rameses (the UNC Tarheel Mascot ---obviously older son goes there). Rameses means "begotten of the god of son"  an egyption translation.
All I know is Marty/Ramsey has brightened our lives in only 3 days.  I want you to know that he is well loved and already has a permanent place in our hearts.
I sent pictures so you would know he is well. Note Tarheel Bandanna.

Hi Judy, Pepe has had his visit with the vet and did very well.  He got his rabies shot and first dose of Kennel cough vaccination.  The vet was very impressed with his health and nature, and he even complimented your grooming!  The kids are having a wonderful time with him.  Potty training is getting there with just a few accidents in the house, but he is sleeping in the crate like a pro.  Thank you for letting us buy such a sweet and lovable dog!   Hello Everyone:  Here are the pictures of my new babies.  Barney (the one that looks black, but actually he is black and goldern brown).  Hair is a little curly when it is longer.  He would not answer to Barney, so I have started calling him Duke.  He seems to come to that name sometimes and sometimes HEY works. Schnoodle "BJ" Living In Columbia, SC
UPDATE:
Judy,
I just had to write and tell you how much we are enjoying BJ!  We call him Sammie (short for Samson!) and he’s already coming when I call his name.  He bounces around like a bunny and loves to play with our poodle, Freddie.  It’s hilarious to see Freddie (our 12 year old Miniature Poodle who weighs about 20 pounds) and little bitty Sammie playing and wrestling.  The vet says he weighs 3.3 pounds and is totally healthy.  We’ve had only a couple of “accidents” in the house, he either looks for his papers or goes to the door and I take him outside and he knows exactly what he’s needs to do.  I’m very pleased about that.  He discovered Freddie’s weight control food and likes it much better than his puppy chow.  I mixed the two but he picks out the pieces he likes!  I’m going to talk to the vet and see what she recommends about this.  I’ll probably have to switch to puppy food for both of them for awhile.  Any suggestions?
He’s been so good for Freddie to have someone to play with.  Fred’s an old man at 12, but he’s acting like a puppy.  They play so hard and then collapse for a nap.  We’re having a little trouble acclimating him to his new crate, but I’m working on that.  He definitely does not want to be confined!  My 5 year old granddaughter wants to come by every evening after her mom picks her up from daycare.  She’s made it her mission to teach him some tricks and of course he loves the attention.
Thank you Judy for our Sammie.  We love him already!
